Very nice issue of Life magazine on the legendary Woodstock festival (August 15-18, 1969). The magazine is profusely illustrated with numerous color and black and white photographs. It offers the reader an overview of what this gathering was by showing the atmosphere of the crowd, the organization, the logistics, the scenes of liesses, love, the living conditions, the artists, the stage and the communion between the 500,000 spectators who attended the festival. An issue whose cover features the design of graphic designer Arnold Skolnick. Superb and historic.
