In 1978, the director of Liberation (Serge July) opened his pages to the collective of graphic designers Bazooka. A group formed by Kiki & Lulu Picasso, Olivia Clavel, Lulu Larsen, T5 and Bernard Vidal in 1974. A group which innovates, deeply avant-garde and which invades the pages of Liberation with graphic montages and drawings which radically challenge their time. Bazooka even merges with the punk spirit that radiates in these years 1976/1978. In Un Regard Moderne, Bazooka decides to comment on the news through drawings and small comments. There is international (and French) news from a new and uncompromising angle. A complete collection that starts with the magazine issue zero in January 1978. But between the turmoil caused by their drawings within the editorial staff of Liberation and the weariness of the graphic designers themselves, they abandoned the project after six issues.
