Very nice postcard in the first edition of Bill Graham to promote his Pop.op Rock concert series (May 27-28-29, 1966) featuring: Andy Warhol and his Plastic Inevitable with the Velvet Underground and Nico “Pop Girl of “66”. Remarkable document while the Velvet has not yet released an album. Indeed, in the spring of 1966, the group had just signed a contract with Verve records thanks to the support of Andy Warhol. Their first album will not be released until March 1967 with the famous “banana” cover.
