Rare fanzine published in 1978 in 1,000 copies. We find throughout these pages the collaboration between journalist and writer Jon Savage (author of an award-winning biography of the Sex Pistols) and talented artist Linda Sterling (some of whose works can now be found at the Tate). Now a collector’s item, this fanzine is quite simply remarkable for its aesthetic dimension and its punk art. On twelve pages, are reproduced photographic collages, some of which are now famous for having illustrated posters of Buzzcocks, Joy Division or the Factory Records. Some of these images have deeply marked the spirits (including the couple in central pages indulging in masturbation via remote controls). This publication is of capital importance in the history of art, and is a witness to the great creativity of punk art. It also marks a milestone and we can see the arrival of the universe and the cold post-punk atmosphere of the New Wave.
