Very rare magazine of the American community of Paris published between 1976 and 1979. An almost complete extraordinary collection which constitutes a source of remarkable information on the Parisian cultural life of the end of the 70s. There are of course the best addresses in the area. French capital but also very varied reports: the inauguration of the Pompidou center, the concierges, Brassaï, the destruction of the popular district of Belleville, Pierre Boulez, Le Palace, the blues of Americans in Paris, Charles Bukowski, the urban disaster of the Forum des Halles and Tour Montparnasse, a guide to Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the best cafes in Paris, immigrant workers, Hemingway, William Burroughs, Sex in Paris, the Punk wave, wine, Fashion Week, jazz clubs, boat people, disco, Taxi drivers, seducers, the ten years of May 68, racism, Jacques Brel, John Cage, horse races, delicatessens and butchers, Patti Smith, the prostitution… in short, an incalculable number of subjects discussed, a mine to identify and feel the special atmosphere of those years. All illustrated with many photos and with a neat graphic layout with very creative and beautiful covers. This journal is particularly difficult to find today and very few copies seem (for the moment) to have survived reading, which makes this collection a precious testimony to the 1970s.
