Back in stock. Beautiful book on the famous music label 2-Tone records founded in 1979 by Jerry Dammers, the keyboardist of the Specials. We find all the major groups of the label: The Specials, Madness, The Selecter, The Beat, the Bodysnatchers, Swinging Cats. Through beautiful photographs and numerous texts, the book allows us to identify the 2-Tone spirit and the ska/reggae revival which was widely listened to in England and other countries at the end of the 70s. Jamaican ska and punk-rock (with a touch of new-wave), 2-Tone was also a cultural movement committed in particular against apartheid in South Africa, racial conflicts and the social policy then led by Margaret Tatcher.
