The post-punk or cold-wave years (it depends), produced a slew of fanzines in France mixing graphics, music, punk and literature. “Signal de Guerre”, a fanzine based in Troyes is the archetype of this brilliant production, a reflection of the phenomenon of “Jeunes Gens Modernes”. Very inspired by Bazooka imagery. This fanzine has no purpose, as its director declares: “We don’t pretend to create culture. We don’t bring culture to the people. We don’t give a damn…”.
Rare.
