One of the French rock magazines that marked its time. For good reason: he was the first and for a long time the only one to deal with the American, English and French punk-rock scene. Founded by Michel Esteban, manager of Harry Cover, the first Parisian concept store, Rock News had an ephemeral existence (7 issues) but remains in the memories of many French fans of the time. Rock news allowed a new scene to be heard and taken seriously, while the mainstream rock press remained stuck in bygone times.
