Issue of Record Mirror magazine which dedicates its cover to the infernal couple Sid Vicious / Nancy Spungen. The Sex Pistols had just split up (January 1978). Sid Vicious then launched a solo career with in particular the cover of Frank Sinatra’s song “My Way” (the clip of which was shot on the stage of the Olympia in Paris). The Record Mirror devotes a long interview with Sid Vicous and Nancy Spungen (entitled “Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’roll”). The couple look back on the hell they went through, the drugs, Sid’s overdose, their first night together, and the reasons for his departure from the Pistols. Rare issue which also announces the two dramas which will occur a few months later: their two deaths.
