Founded in 2003 by a collective of artists breaking away from the art market, the London printing press Picture on Walls for 16 years distributed hundreds of works by artists including Banksy, Invader, Ian Stevenson, Al Murphy, 3D , Mark Sinckler, Dran, Paul Insect, Aryz, Cept, Todd James, Mighty Mo, Evol… The objective of this collective was to offer works by contemporary artists (mostly street-artists) at reasonable prices and to bypass the traditional economy of the art market by refusing it in particular the monopoly of good taste and the phenomena of speculation. POW stopped in 2017, a victim of its success. Some of its artists meeting with growing success (Banksy in particular), the works and their prices began to escape the control of the collective which preferred to dissolve than to feed what it was originally opposed to.

Rare set of two newspapers distributed by Picture on Walls.
