Historical piece. First production of French rap, Paname City Rappin ‘is the fruit of the great pioneer of French Hip Hop: Dee Nasty. In May 1984, he recorded this album at Studio Do. Originally pressed to 1,000 copies, legend has it that a large part of the stock was destroyed by fire. For a very long time, this vinyl was simply untraceable. A few copies reappeared and this album was re-released in 2020. French rap’s first album, Paname City Rappin ‘is a treasure blending Hip-Hop, funk and electro. Subsequently, Dee Nasty will become one of the main animators of French hip-hop. In particular, he will host “Block Parties” at the famous Terrain Vague de La Chapelle.
