Very nice photographic album by Jürgen Becker devoted to the streets of New York in 1972. The author offers us a walk in the center of Manhattan but also in the working-class districts, everywhere. A significant place is left to the crowd of anonymous people, to scenes of everyday life. It is a gripping snapshot that allows us to fully capture the essence of this city at a pivotal time in its history. An absolutely fascinating and successful book (which has become difficult to find).
