New Rose was a Parisian record store, emblematic of the alternative rock scene in the 1980s. Founded by Patrick Mathé and Louis Thevenin, New Rose also became a music label. Among the signed artists: The Saints, The Cramps, Johnny Thunders, Calvin Russell, Black Flag, The Fleshtones, Les Wampas … New Rose is also becoming a mythical meeting place for many artists, journalists and rock enthusiasts. The record store will in particular ensure the distribution of the Bondage Records label, notably with the Berurier Noir.

In these two fanzines (20,000 copies printed at the time), we find the label’s news with Charles de Goal, Warum Joe, Chris Spedding, Leroi Brothers, Alex Chilton, Black Dragon… Rare set in which only missing issue 3 published later in 1995.
