A panorama of alternative rock from the 80s.New Rose was a Parisian record store, emblematic of the alternative rock scene in the 1980s. Founded by Patrick Mathé and Louis Thevenin, New Rose also became a music label. Among the signed artists: The Saints, The Cramps, Johnny Thunders, Calvin Russell, Black Flag, The Fleshtones, Les Wampas … New Rose is also becoming a mythical meeting place for many artists, journalists and rock enthusiasts. The record store will in particular ensure the distribution of the Bondage Records label, notably with the Berurier Noir.
