Rare issue of this bi-monthly passed down to posterity with this Patti Smith cover. The diary reproduces in the central pages a series of very private photographs of Smith (these photos were taken at the Chelsea hotel), and the latter had never given her consent. She felt that these pictures were private and stolen. A trial followed without knowing the outcome. Beyond these photos, this little-known newspaper, is quite representative of New York of the 70s. It contains the news of the city : the GayDay, the death of Jerry Rubin, an article on Abbie Hoffman, another on John Lennon, a close-up on Candice Darling, the transgender woman, muse of the Factory. Superb issue.
