Rare almost complete collection of this newspaper founded by activists of the Movement for the Liberation of Women (M.L.F.) in 1971. The newspaper will see 6 publications until June 1973. The first issue of May 1971 had been printed in 35,000 copies. Written in a collective spirit (no article was signed), the Torchon Brûle campaigns for women’s rights through the struggles against stereotypes, male oppression, against the model of the patriarchal family, for contraception, the law to abortion, free sexuality, lesbian rights … Very nice layout in the spirit of the “Free Press” of the time and precious testimony of female activism.
