Very nice brochure published for the first anniversary of the Palace nightclub which opened its doors in March 1978. There is a booklet of the festivities (with in particular the costume ball of Thaddée and Loulou Klossowski, the wedding of Paloma Picasso, the Venetian ball by Karl Lagerfeld, concerts by Robert Palmer, Village People, Steel Pulse, Siouxsie and the Banshees…), a text by Roland Barthes, and a beautiful pop-up representing the Palace room and its guests. Copy that belonged to Jean-François Bizot.
