The Palace magazine editorial team (managed by Prosper Assouline) launched in 1982 to publish a fashion magazine focused on drawing. Parisian, elegant, trendy, this magazine is a true summary of the fashion of this period. There are the biggest fashion designers and the biggest brands (YSL, Lagerfeld, Comme des Garçons, Montana, Ungaro, Yamamoto, Catselbajac, Kenzo, Alaia, Mugler, Hermès, Miyake, Gaultier, Rykiel…). The texts are sometimes written by personalities such as Alain Pacadis, Denise Glaser, Gérard Depardieu, Patrick Mauriès, Bernadette Lafont, Roland Topor, Brice Couturier… and are illustrated by artists such as Jean-Paul Goude, Antonio Lopez, Pierre Hardy, Pierre Le Tan, Bettina Rheims, Serge Lutens… A magazine of great originality which ceased to appear at the end of the 80s.
