“On October 30, 1988, we left the table and I accompanied Keith to his studio on Broadway where he was to work. In one afternoon, he produced a complete exhibition, before my eyes and under my lens. We exchanged very little, a comment, a criticism here or there, the music of his boom box filling the workshop. Like a child in a toy store, I discovered the works as they were formed in front of me, without sketches or sketches, with an assured line. No error, no correction possible. I was then 14 years old and I had in my hands my very first camera. Keith and I had been friends for a year and a half, and remained so for a year and a half more, until his death. This little book is the story in pictures of this very special day”.
