Founded by artist and photographer David Schmidlapp, ultimate underground periodical, true underground fanzine, The International Graffiti Times (I.G. Times) is the first newspaper devoted to the art of the street. Its publication lasted 10 years (1984-1994) and Phase 2 occupied the post of Artistic Director in 1986. Work of genius by the richness of its model, of its content, by the graphics, the arrangement of the pages, the I.G. Times is a fundamental witness and propagator of the original spirit of Street Art.

In 1998, a unique edition of one hundred copies was created from the IGT archives. An edition grouping together all the 15 issues and each having a unique portfolio with an artist’s drawing (here Phase 2). A complete set, consisting of 27 double-sided, offset broadsheets with 6 in full color, 6 in duo color, and 6 in black and white. Each numbered. Today these portfolios cannot be found. Some have been acquired by prestigious American universities and Museums as part of their collection on the Hip Hop movement (Stanford & Yale University, MoMA, Getty…). One of the rarest and most interesting collection pieces on Graffiti.
