Rare photographic report on the prison for young offenders in Siegburg (near Cologne in the former West Germany). The book gives way to testimonies of prisoners and is illustrated with many photographs of daily life under bars: Cell, solitude, course of walk, graffiti on the walls, tattoos, workshop, supervisor… a very nice report which reveals despair and the suspended time for these young prisoners. Report made in the heavy 1970s when Western Europe had to face, among other things, the threats of leftist terrorism.
