Beautiful photograph of Ricky Powell taken in 1988 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. She represents the duo Eric B. and Rakim on stage. You can see Rakim from behind and Eric B. at the turntables. In 1988, the duo released their second Studio album: Follow the Leader (Uni Records / MCA) and succeeded in confirming the immense commercial and esteem success of the first album Paid in Full (1987).
