Photographic report by Janette Beckmann, at the beginning of the 80s, in the Chicano neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Janette Beckmann thus takes photographs of the members and their entourage of the Hoyo Maravilla gang based in East LA We find a whole culture specific to the Mexican-American community: graffiti (of which they were pioneers in California), a taste for cars and motorcycles (and Lowriding), and a sartorial sensibilities. Just a little and beautiful masterpiece.
