Rare and magnificent poster within the framework of the tenth anniversary of the CBGB in 1983. The club was opened in December 1973 by Hilly Kristal, in a rather infamous area of Manhattan (on Bowery). If the CBGB had a difficult start, it quickly became with the concerts of Television, Patti Smith, Ramones and Blondie, a high place of the New York underground and of rock in general. On this poster all the big groups that perform at CBGB with in addition to the names mentioned above: The Cramps, B-52s, The Damned, Richard Hell, Tom Petty, Mink DeVille, Talking Heads, John Cale, Nico, Wayne County… The famous club will definitively close its doors in October 2006.
