Two press photographs taken in May 1972. The first with this caption on the back: “These youngsters, typical of dozens roaming New York’s Central Park, huddle in serious discussions on a recent balmy afternoon […] Legends on their jackets indicate apparent gang affiliations”. We can indeed see members of the infamous Savage Skulls gang from the Bronx. On the second photograph, the caption reads: “An unidentified girl finds herself confronted by two teenage gang members”.
