Undoubtedly the best book on the birth and the early days of the hip-hop movement, through a selection of photographs and prodigious illustrations. There are photographs of the Bronx, block parties, evenings hosted by the greatest DJ’s, the first MC’s and breakdancers, but also many reproductions of flyers drawn by the master of the genre: Buddy Esquire, essential vinyl covers , rap manuscripts, in short a complete panorama of the movement and the energy that emanated from it. A fantastic book for hip-hop lovers.
