Blitz Kids is a series of photographs taken by Homer Sykes in the famous Blitz Club. A small venue located in Covent Garden, the Blitz is associated with what has been called the New Romantic movement. The regulars of the place (especially students of Saint Martin’s school and Central School, two art colleges) were known for their explosive styles and outrageous for some (in particular the popular press). The Blitz Club was frequented by very many personalities (John Galliano, David Holah, Boy George, Chris Sullivan, Alice Temple…).
