Official Black Panther Party leaflet supporting the distribution of free breakfasts for children; distribution organized at Chambers Memorial Baptist Church in Harlem in October 1969. Very moving testimony of the BPP which in 1968 had decided in cooperation with the churches of many neighborhoods to meet the needs of the black community and to replace the institutions public. The Free Breakfast for Children Program (FBCP) began in January 1969. By the end of that year, the Black Panthers had distributed more than 10,000 breakfasts across the country.
