Rare catalog of the exhibition dedicated to the intimate portraits of basquiat taken by Nicholas Taylor at the very beginning of the 80s. Taylor and Basquiat met in January 1979 at the Mudd Club and very quickly became friends. With Vincent Gallo in particular, they form the art band Gray.
This catalog reproduces certain shots of a little-known Basquiat, in the making but certain of his talent.
