In May 1984, the famous French magazine opened its pages to the graffiti phenomenon in New York with Keith Haring on the cover drawing in the subway. Several pages are devoted to this ground swell which is shaking the artistic milieu, notably with: Tony Shafrazi, Norman Mailer, Basquiat, Daze, Crash, Kenny Scharf… Perhaps the most sought-after issue of Art Press (also for its very nice cover)
