Collection of the first twelve issues of the famous magazine founded by Andy Warhol and Gerard Malanga. Created in 1969, Inter / view was initially a magazine focused on the arts and particularly on the cinema. It was then, in the 70s, a magazine which mixed the arts and the topicality of the celebrities (the concept of celebrity being a very personal passion of Warhol).

These first twelve numbers offer a striking panorama of the cinematographic avant-garde. To name only a “small” part of this content: Text by Malanga on Sharon Tate, Mick Jagger, Jean-Luc Godard, the success of Macadam Cow-Boy, Jane Fonda, Roman Polanski, Elia Kazan, Sam Shepard, Zabriskie Point, Visconti (the Damned), Pasolini, Robert Altman, Fellini (Satyricon), Michael Wadleigh (his film on Woodstock), Eric Rohmer, Ingrid Bergman, Costa Gavras, Stanley Kubrick and 2001 A Space Odyssey, Elvis Presley , Raquel Welch, Bruce Davison, Alain Delon, Robert Redford, Joe d’Allesandro (Trash), Rita Hayworth… All with a neat layout and many black and white photographs (sometimes full page). Interview was an essential publication and the perfect representative of the Warholian spirit and the Factory.
