Emblematic figure of trendy Paris of the 70s and the “Palace” years, Philippe Morillon offers through this box a tribute to Andy Warhol. He takes again in the form of a pastiche, several photographs which he enhances with colors in the manner of the master of Pop Art. There is a portrait of Warhol (from a photo booth), a packet of Gauloises (A multiple as an art object), a chair by Roger Landau (which echoes the electric chair), Warhol’s signature, and his cat. It is about a very beautiful work of Morillon who knew Warhol. He also took it in photography for the Façade Magazine. These very limited edition boxes were all sold within hours at Saint-Laurent.
