Very rare issue of this Californian magazine. Launched in 1976 by Dennis Cooper, Little Caesar was intended to be a literary journal with an anarchist and punk spirit and a strong presence of poetry. The magazine had twelve issues until 1982. It received many prestigious contributions: Andy Warhol, Lou Reed, Nico, Debbie Harry, Brian Eno… And the most famous number is this one. On the cover, nude Iggy Pop photographed by Gerard Malanga. Contents of this issue: Allen Ginsberg, Pierre Reverdy, Gerard Malanga (series of photographs including portraits of William S. Burroughs, Mick Jagger, John Cage, Lou Reed, Andy Warhol, Anita Pallenberg), The Ramones, Johnny Rotten, portraits of bad boys by Maria Resnick, the punk movement with among others The Clash… A very rich content for a fantastic magazine.
