Reproduction of the famous poster designed by Sebastian Conran in 1977 for the Clash’s Get Out of Control Tour. Returning from tours of European countries, The Clash had organized another long tour of the United Kingdom in late 1977, beginning with a chaotic and canceled visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Clash were still suffering the repercussions of the bad reputation of punks, including The Clash who had made headlines for the riot at the Rainbow last May during the White Riot tour. We can also see that The Clash had invited the New Yorkers of The Void-Oids led by Richard Hell. This poster is one of the group’s iconic.
