Published by Super Labo, Herbie Yamaguchi’s latest work, The Blitz Kids, presents a never-before-seen series taken by the Japanese photographer in the 1980s in London, when the city was the epicenter of alternative music scenes. Ultra-colorful and therefore the antithesis of Yamaguchi’s usual work, the images display the evenings of the Blitz Kids of the Blitz club in Covent Garden and the neo-romantic post-punk movement.
